London Show Wicked Extended Until 30th April 2016



The blockbuster London show, Wicked is the untold saga of the witches of Oz which is running with houseful shows at the magnificent Apollo Victoria Theatre London. Recently, the London show made an announcement regarding extending the booking period until 30th April 2016. The Olivier award winning production has been extended an additional 500, 000 tickets will be available.
L Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz is an exciting saga of two sorcery students, Glinda the Good Witch and The Wicked Witch.
Adapted from the Gregory Maguire’s novel with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the blockbuster Wicked London show has been enjoyed by more than six million theatre lovers. This is the 10th longest running show of London Westend.
The spectacular production has more than 3500 performances and renowned for its heart touching musical numbers such as The Wizard And I, Popular, For Good, Something Bad and the showstopping Defying Gravity.
Jennifer Dinoia as the iconic green skinned with has been taken over by Standby Elphaba, Emma Hatton. The blockbuster and award winning London show, Wicked the Musical has been enjoyed by more than 45, 000 people in UK by 3rd January 2015. The show grossed £2,160,377.50 in London and Edinburgh. The award winning London musical has broken earlier record in both the West End as well as in UK and Ireland Tour.
With astonishing 9 sell out shows along with gross £1,023,819.00, the London production of Wicked The Musical has certainly set a new Box Office record at the magnificent Apollo Victoria Theatre. The earlier record of Wicked for week ending 1st January 2011 was £1,002,885. In the history of West End, the spectacular London show has grossed more than £1 million in a single week.
